Santorini, 6.12.2010

Me, smiling under the clear sky and blazing sun in Oia, Santorini, Greece. The port in the background had lots of tavernas and some of the clearest waters I've ever seen! Crazy I'm even saying that, considering my homeland. Anyways, the port was also featured in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, not like that's cool or anything, but...actually, yeah, it kind of is!! [I used to ADORE that movie about five years ago when I first saw it. Ever since then, I vowed to visit. Of course, when I watched it half a year ago, I realized how cheesy the movie is, but it's ok. The beautiful views in Santorini make up for it. And so many scenes in that movie align perfectly with my photos. No joke. I just re-watched those scenes this past week.]

View from our table at Sunset Taverna. :)

Euro-Nostalgia

About to land in Amsterdam (flying from London)

Doesn't matter if I'm the only one to view my upcoming posts - I'm gonna create them for the sake of creating a space for my pictures to live along words. I really have a hard time doing this sort of thing on Facebook. Mainly because I'm such a private person, and I'm "friends" with more people than I'm actually that close with on Facebook, so it's hard to let my guard down. Stupid, right? [Note: I would delete friends on Fbook, but that's turned out to be more trouble than it's worth when I end up having class with them again :( ]

At any rate, I'm challenging myself to make an online scrapbook of random European memories from early Summer 2010. Ahh, Summer. Just that word alone makes me smile. Too bad I'm down to my last two days of it.

If I get ballsy enough, maybe I'll even make a link to this blog from Facebook! Whooahh, I'm getting ahead of myself.

What's ironic is that this photo was taken above Portland (flying from Amsterdam) on my way back home. Not very European, but very intriguing nonetheless ;)
